From a Father and Grandfather
It's August in Houston, our 2nd season (besides Summer the rest of the year). Been in the 90's since February, I think. (It's now January and I haven't posted this yet. Couldn't find a way or the time to finish it....give it a go again.)

Been having fun just enjoying my Grandson Will when he gets to come over. He's two (for another couple of months). He says he's going to be 5 next, he doesn't like three, so he is going directly to 5. When he gets to my be age, he would gladly roll the years back two or three at a time if he could. He likes to color and read books and take my watch off and put it back on TOO TIGHT...his game, I have to grimace and feign crying to bring him the most joy. He also likes to be outside to blow bubbles and watch the birds and squirrels and enjoy any small breeze we may get.
We get to visit with him nearly every other week. Time seems to just fly by now. He is generally very well behaved and hasn't been too prone to the terrible two syndrome. He does have stages of being strong willed and obstinate but for the most part a welcome visitor in our home. He does shuck his pants off when he comes in, along with his flip flops. He does stop short of shucking it all, as his father did at the same age.
(See evidence below.)
I don't really think that back in the early 80's the temperatures were sufficient to "shuckitall" as the daily dress code. Jonathan just liked the freedom from clothes.
It's also strange that it doesn't seem that long ago that we had 4 teenagers in the house at the same time. Now we have grandchildren that are teenagers.. Time really does fly by. A lovely girl and a good singer and dancer.

Cameron, Kyle and I went fishing at Jeremy's place in Hempstead before Kyle and Amanda were married. He was a good fisherman, too bad the fish were too small. For a new casting and Jigging fisherman he did well and caught several fish.
